The Center For Women & Families
We hope that you will join us at The 29th Celebration of Service and Survival on Friday, February 26, 2016. The Center for Women and Families largest fundraising event included dinner, silent and live auctions as well as a raffle. We will also honor the 2016 Joan E. Thomas Lifetime Achievement Award winner and the 2016 Women of Distinction - five women who have made countless contributions to the community.
Since 1988, this celebration has honored more than 100 Women of Distinction as a way of supporting our mission to provide survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault opportunities to transform their lives, and as a result, the lives of their families and communities. The Center for Women and Families offers inclusive, multicultural services free of charge 24 hours a day, 365 days a year throughout seven Kentucky Counties and two Indiana counties. Our integrated programs address domestic violence, sexual violence and economic hardship through emergency services, legal and medical advocacy, counseling, economic empowerment and housing assistance, and prevention education.
